Jennifer has been involved in the medical device industry for 25 years. She is currently the President of Cook Research Incorporated (subsidiary of Cook Medical, Bloomington, Indiana). Cook Research Incorporated is involved in product development, testing, clinical research, medical and scientific writing, and regulatory submissions.
Jennifer’s professional involvement includes serving as the industry representative of AAMI/BE/WG 04, Clinical Investigations to the ISO steering committee for ISO 14155 – the clinical research standard for medical devices. Jennifer represents Cook Medical on the Board of Directors for the Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA) in addressing challenges facing the medtech industry. Jennifer also represents Cook Medical on the Clinical Science and Medical Officer Advisory Committee with Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC) where FDA, industry and healthcare professionals collaborate to identify opportunities of bringing new technologies to patients. Jennifer is a member of the advisory council for Purdue University’s Women’s Global Health Institute which was founded to improve the health of women through research and training developed at the university. Jennifer earned her BS in Engineering and MS in Physiology from Purdue University.
