David Feygin is the CEO and Co-Founder of SHAKEIQ, a Redesign Health backed startup converging data, digital and AI to transform how medical technology innovators engage providers to expand patient access, improve outcomes, and reduce burden.
David is an entre/intrapreneur and transformation leader with expertise in new zero-to-one business creation, corporate strategy, product development, healthcare innovation commercialization and a deep background in applying digital, data and transformative technology to the advancement of care. David has built, led and guided startups, driven Innovation, Lean, Agile and Digital transformations across two Fortune 350 healthcare enterprises, led organizations that enhance patient care on a global scale and built innovative businesses that reduce physician burden and save lives.
As Chief Business and Commercial Development Officer for Motive Medical Intelligence, David envisioned, built and led two transformational business lines to ensure patient access and reduce physician burden through clinical data, interoperable knowledge and streamlining treatment authorization by rewarding evidence-based physician performance. David envisioned, founded and led Anavo DX, a novel platform to address the massive complexity and growing burden of regulation which derails Digital Health innovation.
Previously, through a progressive tenure with Boston Scientific, David led enterprise digital, data and analytics efforts as Chief Digital Health & Data Officer and VP, Digital Health & Data Solutions. Prior, through evolving Director- and VP-level roles at Becton Dickinson, David led strategic innovation, multiple startup investments, and created an information-enabled Medication Safety and Management strategy that was the foundation for the $12B transformational acquisition of CareFusion, which created $4B in total shareholder value. Early in his career, David led the design, development, and global commercialization of a suite of Virtual Reality Medical Simulators for Laerdal Medical that reduced provider training burden and enhanced performance.
David works with industry shaping institutions, including MDIC Digital Health, Sheba Medical Center Future of Health Community, and is the Chair of the Executive Council of Brigham and Women’s Center for Patient Safety Research and Practice. Across healthcare, there are opportunities to build new businesses that do well by doing good, leverage technological innovation, drive efficiency, and, most importantly, improve the lives of patients and those caring for patients. I hope to contribute to organizations tackling the biggest challenges in healthcare through transformative digital innovation. David holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley; an MBA from Harvard University; and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
