Devon Taylor is the Chief of Staff at the National Evaluation System for health Technology (NEST) – an initiative of the Medical Device Innovation Consortium. In this role, Devon serves as a strategic and operational backbone of the organization, supporting the President and leadership team to ensure the smooth execution of NEST’s day-to-day activities. She leads strategic planning and annual goal setting, facilitates executive decision-making, and serves as a key liaison to the Executive and Governance Committees. Devon also oversees all internal and external communications, ensuring consistent stakeholder engagement, and manages alignment with HR initiatives and staff training efforts.
Devon’s career has been rooted in research, with deep experience in real-world evidence, pharmacoepidemiology, and behavioral economics. Prior to joining NEST, she spent six years at Carelon Research, including three years as Chief of Staff to the President. She also spent four years at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics.
Devon has co-authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications and scientific conference presentations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lehigh University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Pennsylvania. In her free time, she volunteers with MANNA, a Philadelphia-based organization that provides medically tailored meals to individuals living with serious illnesses.
