Pipper White, MSc, CCE-R is the Product Owner for active surveillance at the NEST Coordinating Center. Prior to joining NESTcc, she worked in government contracting for AbleVets LLC where she held various roles on agile software development teams including business analysist, product owner and release manager. In her last position, Pipper served as Product Owner on a team working to improve the patient scheduling experience for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Pipper is also a certified clinical engineer with over 20 years of experience managing medical equipment technology in both the US and UK. Her responsibilities spanned the full equipment lifecycle including procurement, user training, process improvement and regulatory compliance. She has served as the Chairperson on the Healthcare Technology Certification Commission (HTCC) under the American College of Clinical Engineering (ACCE).
Pipper earned an MSc in Medical Electronics from Queen Mary’s University in London and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
